the Queer Love in
Abundance Program
Dear Queer-Identified Women
As we navigate these challenging and uncertain times in our political history, it is essential to remember Audre Lorde's words: “The personal is political.”
This online support group has been thoughtfully designed to support our community by reconnecting with the radical and transformative power of love.
Queer Love in Abundance is a six-month coaching program designed for LGBTQ+ individuals, couples, and allies who support our communities. This group offers a safe space where we will work to cultivate and strengthen our relationships with ourselves and others.

In a warm and affirming virtual sanctuary (Zoom), we will explore what it means to build meaningful connections, both romantic and platonic, beyond heteronormative scripts. This group is for those ready to move past societal pressures and internalized biases, embracing a more authentic and joyful experience of love.
-
Navigating the complexities of queer dating and relationship structures.
-
Healing from internalized homophobia and transphobia.
-
Building a stronger sense of self-worth and self-acceptance.
This coaching group will meet every other Saturday from Saturday, February 14th 2026, through August 15th 2026.
I’ll be able to make the recordings available to anyone unable to attend in real time.
Guest speakers and the curator of the Queer Love in Abundance Group, Yolonda Young-Adisa, will facilitate our group discussions and activities. This community care group is a queer-affirming space for adults seeking support in navigating the complexities of their identities and relationships. Participants will gain tools to create more fulfilling connections, both within the community and in their lives. Prospective participants will complete a screening process to ensure the group is a good fit.
Each session will feature a queer relationship expert who will share insights on the following topics:
Months 1–2: Cultivating Self-Love. Focus on building self-worth, challenging internalized biases, and healing from shame and self-doubt.
Months 3–4: Navigating Connections. Improve communication skills, set effective boundaries, and explore diverse relationship styles (monogamous, polyamorous, and others).
Months 5–6: Embracing Abundance. Build and celebrate community, heal relational wounds, and imagine a future filled with authentic, joyful, and abundant love.

Yolonda Young-Adisa is an extraordinary teacher who calls upon the traditions of the ancestors to facilitate deep understanding leading to inclusion. Her tactics uncover the ways we are connected, alike, and steeped in our own traditions to bring about incremental change in attitudes and approaches to consider how diversity actually lives in the workplace. Equity becomes the meal shared once the table is set to welcome all. In the griot's tradition, Yolonda makes every story singular and important by calling forth the voices of Bell Hooks, Audre Lorde, Octavia Butler and others to inspire and pull back the veil of inequity. She is masterful and kind in her restoration and commitment to lead us into healthy diverse relationships. Now, it is a pleasure to take our learning to the next level as she leads the curation of our journey. Utilizing the arts to deeply reflect our equity journey is the next phase of our joy!

Clients Testimonials

Over the many years that I have known Yolonda, she has consistently demonstrated a strong passion for addressing the emotional and psychological impact of racism, and she has continually worked towards improving her understanding of implicit racial bias and how it impacts the well-being of those subjected to it. Now, as a clinical social worker; psychotherapist, leadership coach and DEI Consultant she continues to expand that inquiry to include the exploration of strategies for improving the quality of life for people of marginalized communities. Without any hesitation, I recommend Yolonda Young-Adisa to your organization. I believe that you will find her to be a creative thinker, resourceful, and fiercely passionate about making a positive difference, locally and beyond.

Having sessions with Yolonda has been healing and grounding. I started coaching during a time of transition in my life. From our work together this past year and a half, I have a deeper sense of inner balance, no matter what's happening day to day. I'm clearer on the next steps for the future and I feel more empowered to take them. Yolonda's thoughtful approach makes me feel deeply supported as a woman of color. Clients Testimonials

We were very intentional about who we wanted for a couple's therapist, as we are a mixed-race, gay couple and the nuance that comes with. Yolonda was a rare find and someone who really understood the dynamics of our relationship. She was able to point out blind spots and help us to understand one another more deeply and intimately. We will never forget the work we did with her, and I’m happy to say that we now refer to each other as HUSBANDS!
