Overview of Services

I employ services to support individuals, communities, and organizations with the care needed to support holistic wellness: 

R.A.I.N. Sound Wellness & Clinical Consulting LLC is dedicated to enhancing the mental health and holistic well-being of Black and Indigenous people of color (BIPOC) who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender, along with BIPOC allies for LGBTQ+ communities. We promote equity and advocacy for racial, economic, and gender justice.

Our mission is to educate, empower, and support equitable mental health care, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) consulting, and community care groups for clients from diverse backgrounds by providing care rooted in social justice principles and be incorporation of relational, trauma-informed, and culturally relevant approaches.

 

As the founder and lead provider, Yolonda offers thought leadership through the lens of social and emotional intelligence to help individuals, organizations and executive leaders create social justice and trauma-informed transformation. Drawing on principles of clinical social work and educational leadership, Yolonda aims to provide liberatory guidance to her clients.

Services

DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Consulting for Organizations: Includes qualitative research analysis to support tailored consulting, strategy development, and collaboration with organizational and community leaders, staff, and affinity groups. This encompasses training, group facilitation, coaching, and policy updates to ensure DEI initiatives are equitable, adaptable, and based on liberatory leadership practices.

 

Psychotherapy & Coaching, supported by mentorship and supervised by an LCSW, is available for individuals, couples, and families, including those seeking to understand non-traditional family and community structures. 

 

Community Care Programs offers healing-centered programs that foster growth, connection, and resilience. Rooted in social justice and community care, each program is tailored to the needs of the group. Participants leave empowered with tools to transform themselves and their communities.
