Yolonda M. Young-Adisa, MSW, ASW is changing the world around her, one conversation at a time.

She is committed to social justice and to uplifting the voices of marginalized people by improving our sense of self and community care while celebrating our humanity. Yolonda’s passion frames her world, as her motivation for justice is rooted in her exposure to racism as a young Black girl growing up in the American South; on the cusps of the civil rights movement. She believes in the importance of healing from racial trauma; re-imagining policies, leadership and systems, and implementing strategies that transform systems of oppression.
